With a clear hop presence throughout, this low bitterness and smooth dry-hopped APA gives spicy/floral hop expression in the flavor and aroma. Medium body makes it easy to get after a second... and a third. .
Every good tech / engineering nerd knows you start counting from zero. That's position zero. This is also the first beer ever from Lo Rez. Well not this batch exactly. So it's our position zero beer.

my first beer from these guys isnt great, the hops are cool, bright and fruity in here, but the beer itself and as a whole leaves a bit to be desired, the fermentation is a bit weird, its a little overly malty for the hop complexion, and it tastes a bit amateur on the whole. its also oddly weighty and boozy for its moderate abv, its just sort of disjointed and not all that great, but lets talk about the positive here, which for sure are the hops. its a neat mix i reckon, something in the new zealand sort of family, traces of pineapple and kiwi fruit, but also something more classically northwestern, almost a peppery cascade spice for a slash in here, lots of resinous pine and earthiness, and a bite of bitter at the end. its all very fresh too, and with a reduced malt influence and a cleaner fermentation, i think this would be pretty good. i like the other beer i had in here much better, but their space is amazing and they have a huge list, so definitely worth checking out even if their pale ale still tastes like a work in progress.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a growler on November 3, 2017. Brewed with Chinook and Crystal hops in the kettle , then dry-hopped with Crystal. Hoppy citrus flavors.
