Our rich imperial stout aged in a mix of barrels from our friends at Far North Spirits aged for a year then blended for a smooth barrel forward stout. Notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, and vanilla
WTF Name: The base beer is our Imp Stout "Public Delcaration"...and the barrels come from Far North Spirits.

Took a chance on a local BA stout I'd never heard of. Nice, roasty aroma that sticks around throughout the beer. It mixes with light barrel to make a pretty solid offering. The finish is clean and does not linger.

FN Declaration is thick, syrupy and has big hits of hot chocolate. The barrel is on the back of the tongue, mainly sweet. Perfect size at 12 oz.

Pours thick , oily and almost black, with a small brown head that fades quickly.
Snot locker get some vanilla and whiskey. Nice to another beer aged in rye barrels.
Licker gets some chocolate, moderate cherry and some whiskey.
Nice thick 'n chewy BA RIS.
The label claims an 11.0% ABC, works for me!

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. 2018 edition, had 4/27/18.
Pours a mostly opaque dark, oily looking, with a quarter inch foamy head and some light, spotty lacing. This smells terrific. Aromas of rye whiskey, chocolate, oak, some caramel, raisins, light coconut, a hint of vanilla. Has a spicy aroma overall. The taste is rye whiskey forward, then malt, chocolate, oak, caramel, some vanilla, light raisins and coffee, light alcohol. Has a bit of a spicy finish. Mostly smooth, a good but lighter body for the style, appropriately carbonated.
A solid effort from Lo Rez. Terrific aroma and great flavor. It’s barrel forward, but the barrels are really good. Maybe could use a bit of a fuller body, to stand up to the barrels a little more. Have one more bottle to age a while and look forward to buying it again next year.
