We aged our imperial stout in rye whiskey barrels then blended it with cold brew coffee from Hexe Coffee Co. and added in a pinch of cinnamon.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 11/6/21, had 1/4/22.
Pours an opaque, dark brown, oily looking, with no head and a little soapy cling. Aromas of rye whiskey, malt, vanilla, cinnamon, light chocolate. Flavors of rye whiskey, vanilla, malt, cinnamon, some coffee and chocolate, light oak. Smooth, a good fuller body, appropriately carbonated.
Has the familiar, solid barrels that give off lots of vanilla. The coffee is good, but it could be stronger and as it’s cold brew, it seems to thin the body a little compared to Far North Declaration. Still pretty good and enjoyable.
