Black body with a finger of tan foam, rings of lacing, mostly unbroken surface skim. Looks good.
Smell is a little vinous, dark fruit acidity which can sometimes be a sign of infection. Roastiness and some odd butterscotch bleeding through.
Roast malt, graphite, dark fruit, butterscotch. Oddly it tastes like coffee blended with blueberry yogurt. Lingering roasty aftertaste. Diacetyl present, mild astringency, odd yogurt finish. Something seems slightly off, but it’s still drinkable. Would try again on draft, but will skip the undated bombers next time.
