16 oz can into a pilsner glass. Mostly clear amber-tinged mahogany color with a minimal tan head that quickly receded to a thin film. Sweet and toasted malt on the nose. Tastes of grainy sweet caramel malt with some faint chocolate. Medium smooth easy-drinking body.

Light brown color. Appears clear. Lasting tight bubbled head. Some wide streaks on the glass.
Some brown sugar nose. Weak darker toast smells.
Cocoa nibs come to mind. Sweeter. Thinner body as expected but with a tighter carbonation. Easy drinking and smooth. Similar to chocolate soda.

A perfectly cromulent, kind of generic dark lager. Pleasantly fizzy, easy-to-like malty sweetness.

Canned 2021/12/10
Pours a foamy fizzy 1 finger off white head with med retention, no lacing, very clear dark auburn copper to slight chestnut color
Nose sweet toasted malt with caramel, toffee, candy sweet slight syrupy, hint of fruit, not much malt overall
Taste semi sweet with fair malt, toasted grainy malt reddish candy like with a touch of caramel and toffee, little biscuity and hint of coffee, touch of spicy hop late with light bitterness, drier mild sticky finish
Mouth is med bod, a touch syrupy, higher frothy carb
Overall not bad, but a bit boring, not much malt or fruit character, fairly plain, but at least within style

Dark amber tone with crystal clarity, ample foam that forms a two finger head and rises above the glass rim. Aromas of toasted multigrain bread crusts, toasted barley, faint apple.
Taste is moderately bitter, more than expected, and the earthy hop bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Malty otherwise, multigrain bread and toasted grain. Light bodied with a slight astringency, dry in the finish. Overall it's pretty good, though it's fairly bitter and could use more smoothness and texture.
