16 oz can. Pours hazy orange with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of mango, peaches some bready malt and hops. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of ginger, some hops and misc. fruit. Finish is long and spicy. I don’t like ginger.

A: Pours a hazy medium golden amber in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate amounts of honey + medium golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy very light beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of mottled medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Just shy of moderate aromas of spicy fresh ginger over the top of light to moderate aromas of caramel + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. Light aromas of slightly juicy tropical/mango, tropical/pineapple, and citrus/grapefruit hops.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of caramel + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of spicy fresh ginger. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of slightly juicy tropical/mango, tropical/pineapple, and citrus/grapefruit hops which impart a minimal amount of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering spicy fresh ginger and citrus + tropical hop flavors.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of dryness in the finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and very interesting - the combination of NE IPA and fresh ginger is quite different and packs a lot of different flavors into it. Enjoyable and I think I would like to have another one of these. Refreshing on a hot summer evening and would go well with some spicy asian food.

A: The beer is hazy amber yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high off white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of ginger root are present in the nose along with slight hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste has moderate to strong flavors of ginger root along with hints of tropical fruits and bits of spices towards the finish. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with so much aromas and flavors of ginger, it doesn't really take like an IPA—all you get are some hints of tropical fruits in the taste.
