Tap at the brewery
Big frothy creamy head with great lacing, very clear honey blond color
Nose big dank fruity hops, super dank and musty, tropical notes with papaya passion fruit, mango pineapple flashes, no citrus,
Taste more dank hops, little pine and resin, quite bitter, herbal spicy hops too little tropical but generic, touch of creamy malt, dry slight sticky very bitter finish
Mouth is med bod, nice carb
Overall as an ipa it's ok, but if they think this is a NEIPA I think they completely don't understand what a NEIPA is. This was not cloudy or creamy, no citrus and very little tropical, very bitter... The entire point of NEIPA is the big citrus tropical hops without much bitterness, and should have rich creamy body, ironically their description says "this isn't your west coast ipa" but it's much closer to that than NEIPA.
