Tried this on my Labour Day weekend....a real treat to find a new craft brewery to check out! Had a sample and then reviewing from a growler purchased....
A- Pours with a one finger thick head that quickly recedes to a ring around the glass at the top of the liquid, and it is eggshell in color. The coloration of the brew itself is a copper/red hue with plenty of fine looking carbonation rising to the top of the liquid.....lacing is modest but there is a lot of small patches of bubbles clinging to the side of the glass.
S- Soft nutty character wafts up to my nostrils, primarily of roasted chestnut, alongside sweet toasty malt and almost a yeasty biscuit note and the finish contains a hint of fruitiness. Not much else to say but a robust, enticing aroma overall!
T- Flavors that follow the aromas, with bready richness, roasted red malts, nutty goodness and overall a rich flavorful Red Ale....the finish lingers somewhat in a smooth toasted manner!
M/O- A very nice Red and the best way I can describe it is a premium version of what Rickards Red is....sweet, robust, well hidden alcohol and velvet like carbonation.....a well rounded beer that I'm happy to enjoy with family and friends. Will most definitely get again and look forward to when canning starts once supply catches back up with demand!

16oz glass at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square. Good to see more of these L-Loyd (my preschooler watches a lot of Ninjago) brews make it, um, south-by-southwest of the 4th meridian.
This beer appears a murky, pale golden amber colour, with one skinny finger of wispy and faintly bubbly dirty white head, which leaves a bit of roiling sea froth lace around the glass as things evenly recede.
It smells of bready and biscuity pale malt, some weird earthy nuttiness, subtle estery yeast, indistinct domestic citrus rind, and more plain leafy, weedy, and musty floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, toasted white crackers, ethereal pome fruity notes, weak phenolic yeast, and more understated leafy, herbal, and floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-assuring frothiness, the body a generic middleweight, and more or less smooth, with nothing really interfering, nor consequently contributing here. It finishes quite dry, the grainy malt kind of making a go of it on its own.
Overall - this is hardly a shadow of the purported version of the style (after conferring with the congenial barkeep, that seems to be the consensus here). Not a bad pale ale, I would proffer, but totally lacking the malt bill necessary for anything with the word 'red' in its name. I will consult (I know, too many 'con-' words) after the fact here, because something seems amiss.
