Black IPA

Pours very dark opaque brown with a low cream coloured head that leaves some spots of lace. Nose is cola and cold brew coffee...very little in terms of hops. Taste is also not what I'd expect from the style. Almost a half-stout half-pale ale. Light coffee, toast, and roasted malts with a good bitter balance. Overall, not very IPA-like, but a reasonably enjoyable beer.
