Outcast's version - Barrel Aged Imperial Stout in 16 ounce can.
Moderately thick black pour with finger of light brown head.
On the nose notes of dark fruit, cocoa, cherry, but I kept getting whiffs of green apple/apple juice.
Taste is moderately sweet with again the dark fruit, a bit of dark chocolate, hint of graham cracker, but once again as with the nose just a hint of green apple popped up.
Medium full mouthfeel with slightly subdued carbonation - finishes smooth with little bitterness and a sweetness I cannot put my finger on. Not a bad beer by any stretch but not one I would return to - don't mind though to support a great movement,
