Crumble Vanilla Ale

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via the brewery whilst hanging out with Bluejacket and
Laura (and the Little Woman, of course!). This solid little cream ale pours a rich golden with a
very nice head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and shows some
rather nice lacing. Nose of vanilla, subtle breaded malts, herbal notes, and honey sweet malt.
Flavors express a fine presentation of a cream ale with honey, vanilla, cream, light breaded
malt hints, and subtle grain touches. Mouth feel is medium light verging on light, medium
light carbonation, smooth, and finishing faintly dry and nicely balanced.

Overall, a SOLID brew from a great little brewery!

16 ounce can, purchased at the brewery yesterday when hanging out with Brutaltruth. Pretty sure he paid for it so thanks! No dating I noticed on there. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear dark gold color with about an inch white head that stuck around for a while. Small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, vanilla stands out to me but there's also some sugar cookie, cream and sweet malt noticeable too. Taste is just like the aroma, pretty much all vanilla sugar cookie! Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think this one is better on tap. If you're into sweet tasting (but too sweet) cookie beers, give this one a try, I liked it!
