From the 16 oz can in a snifter via the brewery while visiting with Bluejacket74!
This decent little stout pours a deep dark brownish black with dark tea highlights
and a fizzling head that fades to a razor thin ring. Nose of dark cocoa, cinnamon,
and brulee. Flavors surpass the nose with cinnamon, vanilla, brulee, subtle pepper
notes, deep roast, subtle nutmeg, and heavy dark bread without the char. Mouth
feel is medium full, smooth, lightly coating, light carbonation, and a lightly sweet
and subtly spicy/spiced finish.
Overall, love this little brewery, cool place, good people, and solid brews!
Of note, this has improved with age with flavors mellowing out nicely from the
other can I had.
Cheers

16 ounce can, thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Picked it up at a recent trip to the brewery about a couple months ago, canning date 8/11/25, label says this batch is 9% ABV. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like cacao, cinnamon, roasted malt and some vanilla. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some earthy and dark bready flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, although I did think it was better on tap. Worth trying if you get the chance!
