From the 16 oz can in a snifter via the brewery while hanging out with Bluejacket74 and Laura!
This solid little dunkel pours a reddish brown with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin wafting layer, and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of dark breaded malts,
coffee hints, toffee, and dark chocolate. Flavors surpass the nose with coffee hints, toffee,
dark breaded malts, raisin, and balanced with subtle herbal hops. Nice mouth feel; medium
body, medium light carbonation, smooth, and a clean finish.
Overall, liked this brewery a lot. Simple, no nonsense, great staff, and no frills brews.
Overall, SOLID!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 10/2/2022, thanks to Brutaltruth for buying some cans when we were at the brewery recently! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/copper color with about an inch or so light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like caramel, toffee, chocolate and some dark breadiness. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some nuts and a bit of an herbal hop flavor noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and pretty easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this dunkel, would definitely drink it again given the chance. Always like stopping at 2 Tones, tasty brews and a very under the radar Columbus area brewery!
