Great building and location, but they have always seemed to be wandering toward what they want to be. Could be great but ends up coming across as just serviceable. If you are staying at a hotel on Colonel Glenn Highway, this is still one of your closest and best bets for a beer though.

Overpriced, substandard, charges for gratuity even though everything is self-serve. Bad experience.

I visited this brewery on a weekday evening with a group while in town for work. The brewery was located in a modern suburban shopping center. Inside was a spacious taproom with several seating areas and a central bar. The decor was simple but comfortable, with wooden tables and chairs. The bar had two servers who were friendly but had a difficult time keeping up with customer orders even though it was not crowded that evening. The food was ordered at the bar and picked up at a food window in a central location. The menu was simple but the food my party ordered was all fresh and enjoyable.
There were 15 beers on tap with a decent mix of styles. There was even one that was cask-conditioned. I tried two beers and found them decent but not outstanding. All-in-all, this was a good place to hang out for food and house-made beer, but it's not worth going too far out of the way for.

Inside is dimly lit and spacious, both in terms of ceiling height and spacing between tables. It feels roomy. A collection of garage doors allow fresh air to sweep into the dining area, and allow patrons to filter in and out of the large patio area. The patio area features a few lawn games for entertainment while drinking. Inside, the walls are adorned with brewery tin signs and memorabilia. Service was fast and friendly and handled our party of 8 well. Visiting in the summer in what is considered "IPA season", there was a large collection of other beer styles available including a barleywine, giving plenty of selection. Food was better than the beer, but overall was a little lacking. It's at least a good place to get house-made beer with food in the suburbs around Dayton.
