No canning date, but I know the can is fresh.
L: Murky golden yellow, little to no head. Leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass. Very hazy looking in appearance- Stereo Brewing nailed the hazy look.
S: Rather fruit-forward. Heavy on the citrus, primarily orange, grapefruit and lemon. Notes of pineapple and green apple as well on the nose. Slight earthyness to the aromas, with an evident yeasty smell.
T: Very strange. At first I taste some hops, presented in a lemongrass-flavor fashion, but there is a definite astringency that I can't get used to. Full of yeasty flavor, giving a cereal/bready taste. The finish is great, with a citrus peel flavor which lingers.I think if the yeast was scaled back, this would be rather tasty. The orange citrus flavor is great on this.
F: Full in body and feel with just a touch of carbonation. Nice feel, not the greatest for an NEIPA, but still decent.
O: I am glad that I tried this one. If the yeast was scaled back, it would be a juice bomb. The more I drink it, the more the juice flavor comes out. I would definitely try again in the future. I am grateful to have tried. Oh, the can art is cool. Gives a song suggestion fo Old World by The Modern Lovers. Cheers!
