Wet Ticket Brewing

In downtown Rahway in a old Woolworth building with street parking and a city parking lot across the street. A cute intimate space with very friendly bartenders that when busy get a little overwhelmed. Actually they need more taps especially when people are filling growlers. They also have crowlers (they seal cans with whatever is on tap). They will accommodate parties in the brewing area and also had an outside but not sure if that will be permanent after the Covid situation.

A great local brewery with tons of great beers and solid service. You can't go wrong with any selection on the menu. The venue itself is a bit small and cramped, but the beer quality easily compensates for this deficiency.

 

Wet Ticket Brewing is located in a storefront building in downtown Rahway. The main tasting room is rather small but there is additional space in the brewing area with large tables. There always seems to be a large and lively crowd. In addition to the beers on draught there are always several canned offerings available. The staff is friendly but can be overtaxed by the crowd. The beer itself is rather inconsistent. The Kolsch is well brewed and some of the IPAs are quite good; others are head scratchers.
