From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This excellent milk stout pours a
nice blackish brown with cola highlights and a nice head of off white foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin light layer, and shows some very nice lacing. Nose of rich dark chocolate,
sweet cream notes, deep roasted elements, and some earthy malts. Flavors exceed the nose
with earthy chocolate and subtle coffee awash in deep roasted goodness with mild sweet cream
with a hint of char. Very good mouth feel; medium light carbonation, medium body, and a
sweet chocolate tinged finish.
Overall a SOLID milk stout from a great brewery.
Cheers

Tap at the Thirsty Moose Manchester.
Dark brown bordering on black with a thin wispy tan head. Roasty earthy with a hint of chocolate. Straddles the line between dry and sweet stout with only a hint of the chocolate coming through. Nice beer but I was expecting more chocolate.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at The Vine on February 18, 2018. Brewed with lactose and chocolate and Munich malts. Look is dark brown with a thick tan foamy head and lingering lacing. Full in body with chocolate and coffee notes.
