Served on-tap @ Chuckanut Oktoberfest 2015
A — Pours a nice clear light amber hue into the glass, great clarity. There is a smooth off-white colored head that sits atop the beer and leaves some surprisingly nice lacing down the inside of the glass.
S — Smell is light, bready, malty, sweet, balanced with an earthy noble hop presence.
T — Taste is great, super refreshing, with notes of fresh malts, light caramel sweetness, a real clean hop profile helps to balance things out here.
M — Light in body, plenty of carbonation to help round things out.
O — Great beer overall, really nice and refreshing without being overly sweet.

On tap in the Bier Garden at Chuckanut's Oktoberfest. A pleasing big lager with plenty of flavor to drink along with saurkraut, salami, and salty pretzels.
The yellow brew has plenty of foam. Spritzy and mouthfillling. It's so malty and rich. The perfumey aromatics fill the nose with every sip. It makes me think of a big Kölsch. This is really quite sweet, but balanced by an intriguing tanginess.
