Summer Pale Ale 2025 is bursting with passionfruit and citrus aromatics from Galaxy, Sabro, and Citra hops from Yakima. Simpsons Golden Promise provides a dry malt backbone on which the hops can shine. A dry hopping provides flavors like lime and grapefruit. This sessionable hoppy pale ale is the perfect patio sipper for hot summer days!

Light amount of white head. Medium light gold look. Malt is in the nose, a medium version it is. The hop aroma is very subtle, a little teensy bit of grapefruit peel and a floral character, rides along with the former to finish off the aroma. Balanced, very light citrus peel and a floral character, with a fair amount of medium light , caramelized malt foundation.

Bottle from Market of Choice.
A clear golden yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is moderately hoppy and fruity with melon, kiwi, strawberry present along with a moderately minty note as well. Soft creamy doughy sweetness is present as well. The palate opens moderately bitter and quite fruity with a blend of minty spices( light allspice?) Along with moderate fruitiness. Semiripe grape, melon, kiwi, a light strawberry note. The mid palate has a nice, grainy, snappy malt character which works with the rather mineraly profile. Drying, creamy, bitter on the finish, this feels great on the palate. Soft, fluffy yet firm, vaguely sweet yet firmly bitter. Very good.

Served in 16oz Willi Becher. Poured a clean, clear, bright gold color with 3/4 inch of white head that had very good retention and good lacing.
The aroma had some grainy , earthy malts, and a low, but noticeable, hop presence.
The flavor profile was the same, just brighter and more fully developed, especially with the hops being brighter and more crisp.
The body was pleasantly light, smooth, and had a nicely dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, I'd happily take a growler to a cookout.
Overall, a very nice little brew. Worth trying if you see it.
