Lighter red amber with a floral aroma. Caramel flavors persist with a light bittering balance. Moderate carbonation and a little bitter finish.
I have to say I wasn't to impressed with this one. First of all, 6.5% is hardly a strong ale in my book but that put aside there just wasn't too much to this one. Not bad at all just not very interesting.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear reddish-amber color with a thin head, low retention and a bit more than minimal lacing.
The aroma was sweet, with a slightly alcoholic scent, and no noticeable spices or hops. The flavors were very similar, big malt upfront, a sweet middle and a slight tang on the finish.
The body was very thin for a strong ale and was the biggest flaw with this beer. Drinkability was very good, probably due to the lower than average ABV for the style.
Overall, a very good brew. It will take effort to try it if youy don't live in the 4th Corner, but worth that effort.
