The brewery calls this an "American Dark Lager", and there isn't such a category here on BA, so I put it here.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear dark mahogany color with3/4 of an inch of medium tan head that had good retention and lacing.

The aroma had a very good grain foundation with just a light bit of roastiness on the top. There was just the right amount of gentle, even hopping to provide some contrast and balance. On the tongue, the story was the same. Good earthy grains, gentle roast and an even hand with the hops made for a tasty and well-balanced beer.

The body was very good, smooth, even and clean. Drinkability was excellent, I've had several of these over the last few days and haven't gotten bored with it. Overall, another very solid, enjoyable and quaffable brew from C-nut. A must try if you see it.
