The quintessential British session ale! Known for its low level of hops character and low alcohol content. Grainy, toasted malty flavors and undertones of chocolate ring through in this ale.
Cask and bottle conditioned ales are products of natural fermentation and natural carbonation. Nuanced flavor notes are best enjoyed between 52° and 57°. Some sediment is to be expected

This is a murky, old copper liquid with a slight, albeit brief, beige head. It is a bottled Cask Ale in a traditional Harp Nonic glass. This one looks the part.
The aroma is dominated by toasted malt with prominent showings of honey roasted cashews followed by some black coffee.
Archie's is sweet and nutty with a light roasted malt finish that lingers. Bitterness is light and there is a muddy sun-brewed tea flavor. Astringency is also light. Warmth is surprisingly good for this beer as it brings out the sweetness, nuts and clears up some of the muddiness.
It has a medium body with a woolly texture. Alcohol is light which is surprising, given that it is below 4%. Carbonation is modest as well.
Archie's is an easy-drinking beer with which one can easily while away the hours playing games, chatting with friends, tailgating, or simply watching the day go by.
