All Mountain Amber Ale is designed for super smooth drinkability. The use of flaked barley in the mash, accents the slightly sweet malt flavor. Subtle flavors of caramel and toasted bread are balanced by the addition of Perle and Mt. Hood hops. Body is medium and the finish is semi-sweet.

Solid malts and caramel sweetness with an interesting barley flavor.

On the pour from a 12oz can there isnt really any head (?) That threw me off a bit, and it doesn't look like a lot of carbonation bubbles either. Is not all that dark, amber is a good description for it.
EDIT: with another can the head magically reappeared and was actually quite attractive with lacing! I dont know what happened, the cans were out of the same 6 pack.
Smell I the pint glass is surprisingly vague maybe some american hops on the nose and some vanilla-y (artificial?) Sweetness. Very vague when cold opens up more as it warms
EDIT: different can similar smell vague when cold but smells good.
Taste is better bit in my opinion tastes much too hoppy to be your average amber. I wish the malt was more present seeing as the style is very malt driven usually.
EDIT: This one almost seems more malty and balanced. This can is better but I dont know why.
Feels close to an APA than an amber ale to be honest. Still enjoyable bit the headlessness and lack of smell makes me wonder if the cans are older but who knows.
EDIT: I'm confused I feel like this could be more consistent.
Overall a good beer for people who like darker hoppy beers. Generally I go dark for the malts more than the hops though.
EDIT: Needs more consistency I dont know if that can was a different batch or old or what but they were out of the same 6 pack. Dipped on the over all score for that

Im getting a slight metal taste on the finish which is why it isn't a 3.5. Otherwise this generally fine. Medium bodied. Nothing to write anyone about. Not the worst thing ever.

Guy at the craft beer store recommended this beer when I asked for, "a super solid amber". I'm slightly disappointed. No head whatsoever, no lacing. The taste is decent and is a little malty with some sweetness. The usual caramel and bread taste
Nothing spectacular. It's sort of like a heavier session amber ale and I will not be buying again.

Pours to a thin, dense head that dissipates to tight lacing on the surface. A good, traditional amber color to this one, nothing unexpected. I got a surprising amount of hops in the nose. I was expecting more malt, not sure why. The hops on the palate are earthy and slightly dank, which is all well and good. The malt is more pronounced in the mouth feel and the finish where the mellowness I was expecting ended up. I think my expectations of this beer were wrong. It's cold and icy outside at the moment, so I was probably hoping for something more warming. This isn't a snuggle-by-the-fire beer. This is a raking-the-leaves-before-football-starts beer.
