Copenhagen 20/8 2019. 33 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgård (Webshop). Very cosmic label with some sort of maelstrom of light. Supposedly a Black hole.
Pours opaque, dark brown with big off-white head. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam completely covering the surface of the beer. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is malty, dark and roasted with strong tart notes. Dark, roasted malts. Caramel. Fairly strong, tart notes of unripe berries, citrus . Light touch of vinegar.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft yet lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger tart, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter withba very light soft undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Dry vinous finish.
A bit unbalanced to the tart and bitter side. But I will not complain.
