Grätzer, or grodziskie, an oak-smoked malt from Poland...I'd never seen this style before, so I was curious to try it. Well...
Let's just say the nose was of smoked salmon, as was the taste. Every sip gave me a sense of smoky fishiness up in the recessed of my sinuses. The fishiness was off putting of what was otherwise a solid brew. Nonetheless, I'd be curious to try other representations of this style
