A beer with Marquette grapes and mixed culture.
This beer is two barrels of oak aged ale blended into a native yeast fermentation of locally grown Marquette grapes. It has a deep red wine like color and tart currant like character. It is carbonated and comes off a bit like a Lambrusco. Bottled February 2023.

500 ml. bottle.
Moderate pour into a big Cabernet glass yields a 3/4 inch pink head over a dark purplish-red body with scant lacing. Head's ring hangs around for the duration.
Nose of Marquette grapes with a little bit of tannins. Other aromas are much less pronounced being oak, funk, and slight sourness.
Taste of the aforementioned grapes foremost, nice and tart; giving way to a tad sweet grape in the middle which eventually finishes somewhat dry with a bit of tannic character. Wow!
Mouthfeel is near perfect, quite full, and reminiscent of champagne. Wow, again!!
Overall, this one is one of Vasili's best, and should not be overlooked!
Cheers!!
