My favorite Wunderkammer offering I've had to date. It has this very distinctive barnyard aroma from the mixed fermentation that reminds me a *lot* of Cantillon -- particularly Vigneronne, Saint Lam, and some of their other fruited offerings. The fruit here is expressive yet bone dry with only a moderate tartness to balance the bretty funk

500 ml. bottle.
Bottled February 2023.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch light pink head over a red wine colored body with lacing.
Nose of black currant and blueberry with some oak as well.
Taste is quite tart in such a good way with the black currant and blueberry front and center.
Finish is tart with oak and slightly bitter.
Feel is, as always, fantastic!
Overall, another excellent offering from Albany, VT.
Cheers!
