Pours deep red with a thin white head that lasts. Smell is mild, perhaps sweet. Taste is spot on Scotch Ale. Could be a bit deep with the flavor but it's solid. Feel is similar, good scotch ale with a little room for improvement. Overall, it's the kind of Scotch Ale you want in your glass.
