On tap at the Jersey Shore in a pint glass.
Minimal lighting at my table showed a pale golden copper color, 1f white cap. No duration and light splash lacing. Clean see-through, active small bubble carbonation.
Strong pine aroma to open then drops off.
Piney and sweet orange with astringent alcohol flavor.
Medium body with a syrup quality that’s more bitter than sweet. Its 7.4% abv hangs back.
Not bad but I wouldn’t drink more than one at a sitting.

Canned 3/24/21 Enjoyed 5/2/21
Pours deep amber with a thick white head that fades quickly. Aroma is pine wood and maybe a touch earthy. Taste is piney hoppy bitter but with sufficient sweetness to keep it in balance. Feel is decent, a bit dry but clean and smooth. Overall a nice west coast IPA with good hop character.

Can to snifter. (canned 07/30/19)
LOOK: Beautiful, copper color, mostly clear with a hint of haze. Small eggshell head, fades but retention is pretty good.
AROMA: Grains, light wood, even lighter smoke.
TASTE: Pine is first and foremost. Some caramel sweetness underneath. General wood and pine in the finish. A little bittering, but the sweet offsets well.
FEEL: medium body. Medium carbonation.
Better than I expected. actually gets better throughout the 16oz. (which is odd for me with hoppy beers).
