This was given to my by my cousin around the holidays as it took a while for me to get around to. I love most of the offerings that I've had from Icarus and while this didn't quite measure up to their better brews, there wasn't anything inherently wrong with this as it checked off all of the proverbial boxes.
The pour to this was alright as this beer had a milky golden hue to it with a sufficient head that evenly settled down. Not a lot of lacing was left behind as most of the thicker suds were near the top of my pint glass with a few scattered dots near the bottom. A good amount of pineapple was in the nose with some Hawaiian Punch and oats underneath that as the taste was plenty bright, sticky, and dewy underneath that. as this was full-bodied and softly dank.
Not a ton of booze to be had here but I could feel it well before finishing this off as it was in line with everything else going on here. A nice green sensation and some jack fruit kicked in the back as this was quite a layered beer that certainly changed as it warmed up. Dated 11/12 on the bottom of the can with "YOU MUST CHOOSE" written above it, this was a good beer with a bit of burn and deep mango in the back that was nice to kick back with on a cold and damp later winter's night. Worth a go once although I'm not sure that Indy would completely approve of this...

can to snifter (didn't have a humble carpenters chalice handy....hope I don't age 1000 years in 10 seconds.)
LOOK: darkish full yellow color, pretty hazy, pretty solid creamy off white head.
AROMA: lots of pineapple and orange followed up by notes of palm and grass,
TASTE: juicy, citrus and some grass with a little bitter ash.
FEEL: medium body, a touch sticky, pretty smooth.
