Clear light amber appearance.
Around medium for carbonation as well as the body.
Aroma is light bread, malt, mild earthy grain, with some cracker. All adds up to a nice aroma.
Taste for the most part follows the aroma, very mild sweetness with bread and cracker.
Overall it was an easy drinking beer that I found enjoyable

A: poured from a 16oz can dated 4/29/20 into a .25l mug. golden in color, crystal clear with a wispy white head that quickly settles into a thin lacing. very nice color but where's the carbonation? this is nearly flat. looks like a hard cider or something but those have more carbonation.
S: sweet malty aroma. milled grains. zero noble hop aroma. smells like a flat AAL, to be honest. damn.
T: lots of sweet malt flavor up front. none of that wonderful honeyed biscuit you typically get with a well-crafted helles. mostly just a one-note grainy malt flavor. noble hop flavor is nowhere to be found, perhaps just a hint of hay. this is one of the worst helles lagers i've ever had.
F: slick. flat. slightly dry but not crispy.
O: a terrible excuse for a German-style helles lager. tastes more like an AAL. I'd give this a 3.8 as a AAL or pale lager, but a German helles this is not. i'm surprised Icarus would approve this for packaging.

a: clear golden amber color with a faint note of orange and light purple. 2-3 finger off-white head that fades to about a 1/2 finger as i type
s: sweet grains, lemongrass, grass and caramel. some lager spice, pepper, green apple. noble earthy hops, and tea. the end is cardamom and some more lager spice and cardboard. smells very crisp
t: huge punch of sweet grains upfront. lemongrass, hay, and grass. a crisp lager note and generic earthy herbal hops. finish is some sweet malt
m: medium mouthfeel with strong carbonation
o: easy to drink and crisp. it's a touch on the sweeter side, and could use a touch more hops for balance
