Had this from a can.
A: pours a hazy gold body with a thick white head with excellent retention and lacing.
S: juicy, floral hop notes with hints of lemongrass and grapefruit rind
T: sweet, tangerine and lemon notes with hints of blood orange and sweet alcohol in the aftertaste
M: medium bodied, crisp and refreshing.
O: nice feel and taste combo; easy going imperial; dangerously smooth.

Traded for this with a friend lately, as he's a big fan of Icarus. I enjoy their beers too as this was full of flavor and easy to savor. Lots of hops in this one and they melded well together with the end result being quite an intensity but with an unfamiliar feeling, because of the Arctic Hops.
The pour to this was nice but could have been better. Cloudy and muted, this was an off gold that wasn't terribly bright as just a bit of light seeped in around the edges. A good amount of head topped it off but once it settled, there was very, very little lacing left behind with a few scattered spots lingering in random spots on my pint glass. Lots of musky peach, soft tropical fruit and some turbid hops to go along with the oats as the taste was much more juicy and lively. Lots of pine, mango, heavy guava, and deep and dewy forest entered the fray in the taste as the booze was quite potent on top of all of that. Nice, slick mouthfeel to this as the carbonation was light and the Mosaic, Columbus, and Arctic hops were quite enduring down to the last sip.
Canned on 6/23 with "SO ICY" written below it, there were hints of pineapple and fruit cocktail in the aftertaste with a bit of El Dorado and other hop smoothness lingering on my palate. This could have been a great beer had it's initial presentation been better but as it was, I enjoyed this as it was another solid offering from Icarus.
