Taster at Icarus. Mahogany pour, still, no head. Woody, malty aroma, brown sugar. Taste ispit fruit, fig, raisin, prune, sweet, malty and warm. Silky feel.

bottle to snifter.
a few days ago was 2 years from the Kobe Bryant tragedy, so this seemed ripe for opening to celebrate the superstar's life.
LOOK: medium brown color, mostly clear, medium cream colored head, very good retention
AROMA: brandy, fig, allspice, winter, holidays, snow days.
TASTE: fruitcake, brandy, fig, cherry, grape, ginger, oak, bourbon.
FEEL: medium body leaning a touch towards full. good carbonation. sugary stickiness.
Firestone Walker's Stickee Monkee is one of my absolute favorites and this is pretty similar. Maybe not the absolute power of that beer, but all the same notes are there and it is very enjoyable. High Quality.

Around a medium body with about average, prickly carbonation. Overall a nice feel with a very dark amber appearance.
Aroma is floral,malt, bubblegum and brown sugar.
Taste is a bit sweet yet has a very mild hop bite that shows up mostly in the finish. There is bubblegum, malt, floral honey.
Overall its an excellent version of the style
