Traded for this recently as I love anything from Icarus, including the Drinking Crayons series. This continued that tradition as I enjoyed this immensely from start to finish, as it almost felt like the fruit was still in the can upon opening!
Nice, golden honey hue to this as a faded, spongy head topped it off. Not much lacing was left behind aside from a thin and rocky ring near the top of my pint glass. Lots of nectarine and crystalline sugar in the subdued nose as the taste was amazingly bursting forward with juice as this felt freshly-squeezed. Dank citrus pith, tangerine rind, juicy peach, orange creamsicle, dank hops, deep forest, and turbid tropical fruit entered on the palate as this was something I instantly fell in love with and could fully kick back to. In addition, the wheat and oats complemented everything wonderfully and rounded out this beer nicely and effortlessly.
The carbonation was sufficient and although there were one or two bits of sediment at the bottom of the liquid, this nearly felt like a tap beer once it fully warmed up. The Nectaron put this over the top but the array of other hops meshed well together with the result being once of the best juice bombs that I've had in a very long time. Canned on 3/30 with"NECTARON OF THE GOOG" written above it, this was the best beer that I ever had from these guys. Highly recommended.
