a: murky dark ruby red color that is almost a light brown. some purple notes in here as well. poured a 1/2 finger fizzy tan head that faded instantly
s: nice smooth caramel note with some generic dark berries. light toffee and fruitcake behind that. some chewy toffee and a hint of earthy hops
t: mild toffee and fruitcake upfront. some dark berries and fig behind. a slight kiss of bitterness on the back of the tongue which fades into a caramel sweetness. the finish has some tinge on the sides of the tongue
m: solid medium mouthfeel with high carbonation
o: a fairly serviceable Dark Mild. would like a bit more depth from the malt, but this is a real nice session beer that would be awesome on cask
