Picked this up at ShopRite Liquors in Little Falls a few weeks back as I love Icarus and have been lucky enough to find many of their offerings available via the single can there. While not among their best offerings, there was enough to like here as this was an incredibly smooth beer that had it's alcohol hidden as well as possible!

The pour to this was pretty typical as the liquid was golden, hazy, and topped off with plenty of dense head. That didn't translate over to the lacing as there was very little of it that remained on the side of my pint glass as it was in the form of a few dots. Lots of lactose, cream, sticky stone fruit, and a hint of nectar in the nose as the taste was just as sweet, smooth, and nuanced as some star and jack fruit, heavy apricot, and dewy swamp water rounded out the taste here. As odd as this may have sounded, it worked as the cloying, full mouthfeel and light carbonation brought out the best in the flavors and allowed them to mesh together nicely.

Hard to detect the alcohol here as this felt like a Milkshake IPA as much as a New England IPA. Dated 9/21 with "ALL MILKED UP!" written above it, this was fun and had a lot going for it although this didn't break any new ground for me. Fans of Icarus won't be disappointed here as this hit the spot from the get-go. The wheat and oats were enough to counter the hops as this was a lovely beer that was completely unoffensive at the same time. Enjoy this as a relaxing dessert!
