Pours a muted reddish brown color, appropriate foamy head with good retention. Fantastic raspberry aroma, light sweetness, reminds me of marshmallow. Flavor is bright red raspberry, sweet plums, creamy vanilla. Light sweetness keeps the fruit tartness in check perfectly. Carbonation creates a creamy texture. What a great beer! The Berliner Weiss base allows the fruit additions to shine through, while keeping the abv in check. Reminds me of New Park Brewing’s “Blender” series. I hope they continue to make these types of beer, especially in the summer. Absolutely delicious!
