This IPA plays the New England part visually--hazy pour, fluffy and ample white head that laces your glass. Citrusy, fruity nose. Flavors didn't unfold one at a time. It was more of a blend, and a good one at that. Candied orange, peach, and melon come at you straight from the hip. There's a lively aspect to this beer that just enhances it's thirst-quenching quality. I'm hopping on this Camel again.

I wasn't sure if I traded for this or picked this up at the Bottle King in Middletown but regardless, I had to get around to this given how long it's been sitting in my fridge. Love all of the beers from Icarus that I've had over the years and this was no exception given how easy it was to enjoy and pillowy it was on the palate - from start to finish!
The pour to this was cloudy, golden, and topped off with more than enough head. The only reason I didn't rate this higher was the almost-complete lack of lacing on my pint glass. Loads of peach, nectarine, and exotic hops in the muted nose as they were much more present in the taste. Plush on the palate, exotic in the aftertaste, and backed by a soft wheat undertone, there was a lot to like here as the hops were all in balance with a nice amount of spring and exotic fruit to complement them. Subtly bubbly, well-balanced, and not too strong, this was appropriate for the spring season.
I say that even though this was dated 1/17 of *last* year with "THIS BEER MAKES YOU HUMBLE" written above it. Amazingly, this held up well as there wasn't any sediment to be seen nor skunk to be felt as this only left me wanting to have a fresher can for the second go-around. Once again, Icarus has a winner here that easily left me wanting more!
