Can from Belmont Station.
A hazy light orange with a thin white head with good retention and lacing, this looks good. The nose is excellent. The Brett primary fermentation lends notes of pineapple and clove with a touch of plastic to temper the outright juiciness of the hops. There's peach, mango, nectarine and melon present. Then palate opens mildly bitter and with a great blend of Brett derived flavors. There's pineapple, a mildly smoky clove note and an earthy note present. This is followed by a moderately juicy peach and mango flavor. In the absence of sufficient bitterness, the Brett notes of clove and earth temper the juice sweetness. Light in body and with a Brett heavy finish, this beer is medium light in body and moderately carbonated. Excellent.
