Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a thin brown head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted and biscuit malt, cocoa, coffee and a touch of vanilla and caramel. Flavor is dark toasted malt, graham crackers, milk chocolate, vanilla and light caramel. ABV well covered. Medium bodied with light creaminess. I picked this up because most of Little Beast's brews are not my style (wild yeast, hence the name), and although I kind of liked the ones I tried before, I thought I should review one of a preferred style. I'm glad I did. This is a good stout and they really did peg the s'mores thing, especially the graham cracker part, which is a pleasant flavor in a stout. There is vanilla for the marshmallows and good chocolate flavor. Nicely done, and I will continue to check out their beer. Good can graphics.
