Less than a month old can poured into a stein. Very opaque black with a tinge of red hue, good lacing and a strong caramel head, falling into a nice crown. The nose is distinctly cookie forward, and some cream in there too. This beer starts out tasting of strong malt and roasted coffee and wood, transitioning into chocolate and cookie crumble, blending into a creamy milkiness that pulls it all together on the long and drawn out finish. It finishes surprisingly dry for an imperial stout, which I appreciate.
This is the best milk and/or American imperial stout I have come across. Absolutely exceptional as a dessert beer. 100% of the proceeds also go towards the movement, well done!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
