I wasn't immediately impressed, but this one sneaks up on you. Subtle depth of American porter flavor, but smooth as an Irish pint. Wonderful blend. Taste of coffee and toffee. Great food accompaniment. Ended up loving this one.

Poured almost black with a thin beige head that left quickly.
Tasted the dark, roast malt that has a mild sweetness to it and mild dk chocolate. Has a mild bitterness with a hint of coffee in there. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a lot of depth, has a thin mouthfeel and clears the palate quickly.
