On nitro-tap 5/3/2017 at the brewpub in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep dark brown color, with a large dense off-white head that fades very slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains coffee, roasted malts, chocolate and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of coffee and chocolate. Then a hearty roasted malt character comes in along with a touch of smoke. The hops presence is very mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid stout to drink for a while.

As a stout it falls flat on its face.... Bland at best, with some coffee notes are the only prominent flavor, no roast, no caramel, nothing else to it, they use a smart brew system importing wort they just add yeast to so the creativity is non existent
