On-tap 5/3/2017 at the brewpub in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a thin off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with good burst of floral hops bitterness that is quickly followed by sweet flavors of tropical citrus fruits (mango & pineapple) and caramel. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a long time.
