Appearance:
Golden, filtered clarity. Thin but permanent white head , moderate lacing.
Aroma:
Light grains/malts, pears and cloves, A bit of citrus
Flavor:
Pears, bubblegum, honey, pale malt, alcohol.
Mouthfeel:
Medium, nominal CO2 and no bad feels. A bit on the sugary side
Overall:
Even though it is pale and is not a "high gravity" beer, this is no pound-n-crush beer. Sip slowly and savor. My favorite local of this style. That is if you can still get it. Twisted Spike ceased operations on October 8, but their inventory is still out in stores and bars.
