Poured from a 12 oz. can (purchased in Oklahoma CIty) into a pint glass, pours a pretty dark brown clear liquid with a white head.
Malty aroma. Lots of malt flavor too, but with some toasty notes, maybe a hint of maple syrup. More hops than expected per the style but I like the result. Thankfully not too sweet (a common failing of many beers of this style).

From the 12/12/2017 first canning run.
Upon opening the can it foamed over a bit. Poured to a generous off white head that steadily settled to a very sad, thin ring. Color is way out of Irish Red range which tops out at 14 SRM. This is a ruby red-brown, almost stout-like color. Looks aside it is fantastic. Fresh clean malt aroma of bread and biscuits. Packs a flavor that is bigger than most Reds--
due to the dark, sugary malts I presume--but has a balancing charge of hops to even it out. The toasty/nutty malt character lingers pleasingly in the finish. Mouthfeel and CO2 are within tolerance. Overall I really enjoy this slightly heavier and much darker side of the style.
