Draft pour into 10oz Tulip, Minneapolis, MN, with 8.5% Imperial/Double IPA as only information given.
L: Almost 1 finger with an unfiltered hazy orange, light brown color. A shout out to the creative tap with night sky and "Save Space for Beer!"
S: For a double IPA, the nose is not overly intense with floral hops as expected, surprising toasty aroma with subtle hints of apricot and alcohol.
T: Strong start as expected that slowly fades with a sustained aromatic finish. The experience is very smooth for such a high ABV IPA brew, very drinkable. Try it to determine how else you would describe the taste.
F: Light in the mouth with mild carbonation... no complaints.
O: If I'm back in MN (not sure where else it is available), I will definitely enjoy another. As a double IPA, it doesn't standout with some special overpowering taste; the Deep Sky is just delicious and welcoming (for 8.5%).
