L: coopery straw yellow. Hazy and unfiltered appearance. A couple fingers of head and no lacing.
S: tons of passion fruit on the nose. In fact, it’s pretty much all I smell. It does smell tart and inviting. Extremely fruit-forward.
T: just as the smell would lend, this is juicy. Passionfruit, guava and grapefruit are the dominant players. Finish is tart with light lemony and hoppy finish, but then the fruit takes over. Somewhat sweet the more you drink, but dang it’s good.
F: medium in body and light to medium in weight. Moderate carbonation with no booze. Does feel somewhat syrupy after a while.
O: one of the better sour IPAs I’ve yet to try. I do feel it is more sour/tart than ipa, but the ipa core is still there. Needless to say, I’m enjoying it. I am very glad to try. Cheers!
