Sweet tropical hoppy, candied sweet malty, and an earthy-citrus, hint of boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet malty, tropical hoppy, and an earthy grapefruit citrus bitter finish. This is definitely boozy on the backend, but not overwhelmingly so initially. As it warms, some gin-like booziness becomes more prominent along with some pretty strong hopburn. I wasn't so sure about the Candi sugar addition here, but it works to balance out the heat...pretty good quad!
