Malty and sweet with a fruity character, this medium-to-light beer finishes dry with huge blood orange citrus character in the body and aroma. A slight bitterness balances out the malt. This blonde is very fruit-forward with the freshness from the Blood Orange.

Pours a clear golden color with a sudsy white head. The nose has a bit of sweetness from the malt and tart citrus from the blood orange.
The tartness from the blood orange is more pronounced on the taste and works really well with the subtle malt sweetness and crisp mouthfeel. Glad I tried this.

Beer has good clarity and color is a deep orange color. Decent head but doesn’t last too long. Smell some malt, bread, and grain but mostly the blood orange and it smells juicy. Has a perfect prickliness in the mouth at start but then not enough carbonation later as the beer warms up. I get bread as expected but much more grainy flavor than expected. The malty and grain like flavors you get from a blond hit you upfront and then the orange hits with a slight astringent and bread like aftertaste. Overall the taste fades rather quickly and is a light to medium bodied refreshing beer.

A - Light orange body, clear with a blizzard of carbonation bubbles. Moderate white head, tightly bubbled, fading to a fat cap. Lacing is tiny and tightly layered.
S - Strong citrus, zest and acidic orange bite. Below is a more quiet malt note, suggesting sour grains.
T - The fruit is forward, straight orange flesh, but the crackery malt is the core, with a mildly bitter finish.
M - Bright and frisky, with a light weight and strong carbonation, and a dry quick finish.
O - A tasty and pleasant drinker. Not very nuanced, but delicious.
